NG24 4SE Monday 25<sup>th<\/sup> March 2019, 19.00 &#8211; 21.00<\/p>\n<p>This free workshop is being organised in response to requests by masters rowers for information on coaching and training, specifically for masters rowers. The workshop is designed for masters rowers and their coaches and is supported by a manual prepared by the BR Masters Committee.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The workshop will cover physiological changes associated with ageing. There will be discussion on how to slow the inevitable decline and how to play to your strengths. Other areas to be covered include: metabolic conditioning (cardiovascular training) tissue conditioning (strength, power and trunk endurance) together with flexibility and stretching, training programmes, nutrition, avoiding injury and rigging. There is also a new section on masters beginners.<\/p>\n<p>The support manual is free as a Word document and will be sent to you when you sign up for the workshop.
