Level 2 Club Coach Course .

After a long period of time, we have have managed to get a L2 coach course booked in for the region and the associated pre-requisites of Capsize training.

What is it?

The Club Coach course qualifies you to prepare, deliver and review consecutive coaching courses to develop the skills of individuals or crews. Any BR member over 18 is welcome to attend.

What is in the course?

The course covers aspects of Coaching Principles, Safety, Planning, Skill and Technique Development, Equipment Set up and warm-up and cool-down.

When is the course?

The course is run over 36 hours over 2 consecutive weekends November 2nd/3rd and November 9th/10th with a final assessment 4-6 weeks later.
The pre-requisite Capsize and Recover Course will be held Sunday 17th November at Nottingham and Union Boat Club and Bingham Leisure Centre.

How much does the course cost?

The L2 Club Coach costs £450

The Capsize and Recovery Workshop costs £55 (for BR members)
